How long is john cena out injured for? and is it a legit injury or part of a storyline?

i think that it's all part of a storyline. and cena iwll run in at unforgiven and win the belt. but wwe are playing it down as a legit injury. so it will be a shock to everyone what you all think?

The injury is legitimate, he will be out for around 3 months, coming back around survivor series.

its a storyline. if he really did have surgery on his neck he be out for at least 1 year not if 2. and did u see the after surgery pictures on wwe.com? after neck surgery you should be wearing a neck brace and john cena was not wearing one.

It could be both because survivor series is in boston so it could be a storyline or legit but he will be back at survivor series.

Well, truth be told, the way the injury came to be was storyline, as in, it was not via Batista's Bastista Bombs during their SummerSlam match. It was in fact a nagging injury that John had that he & the WWE decided that now was a good a time as any to deal with it.

It was a good thing they did, because had it gotten worse, John would have required risky neck fusion surgery & would be out for a guaranteed year. Edge & Lita have had similar surgeries.

He should be out through Survivor Series.

4 months cena was injured 2 week before summerslam batista just made the injury worse.
