How long is summer going to be in illinois??

i heard from teacher and stuff that this summer in illinois is going to go through all this year and is going to continue all the way through april 09.. is that true? if not..wen is the estimate to where its going to end.. because if its going to end soon im going to be mad. the summer really didnt even start yet. its still so cold around here. yeahh and like i heard that its going to be till april because of global warming and stuff. so is that true?

Summer in Illinois is going to be the same as every other year.  It usually gets warmer through the month of May.  Summer lasts for June, July, and August.  It cools down during September and October.

What school do you go to?  Your teacher is not teaching fact but opinions that have no basis in fact.

Your teacher is an ill-advised person who probably has very little knowledge of climate or weather.  Probably a woman who is only going off what she heard in passing on the T.V. one evening while grading papers.

Every year Illionis has 4 seasons. You will definetely have summer soon. Don't know hot you want it but in the next 10 days, they are predicting 60s and 70s. That is nothing to complain about.
