Question:

How long is the Copenhagen fine cut good based on the cans date?

I have noticed that gas stations are selling it with dates a month old and longer, to me thats dry and bad. Any opinions for you dippers out there? I just got a can dated June 9th and thats terrible too dry. I wish I could contact someone at the copenhagen office to complain

  2. I used to work at a convenience store while in college.  The local, stocking tobacco representative for the particular brand of chew/tobacco compnay should be rotating (and removing) any cans over four weeks old.

    I used to have customers come in and make me go through the display to find the "freshest" can...

    What I do currently is to try to scope a place out that sells a lot of chew (truck stops and small town stores are good ones) and buy from them.  More sales = Better product rotation = Fresh chew...

    Also, yes, you are right...That is way too old for a can of Cope...Try putting a little (a half teaspoon at the most) rum or whiskey in the can, packing it up and letting it sit for an hour or so...Its better then throwing the can away.
