  1. Like Max.Kiwi says.  Super 14 from Mid-February to late May.  Trinations June to August.  End year tour is October - November.  In SA, Currie Cup from June to October.  Vodacom cup is on during the Super14.  So it all depends on what league you play in and if you're provincial AND international or just provincial.  Not really bothered about club level.

Personal opinion, a very good site is planetrugby.com

  2. Rugby is a winter sport and as such is played in the northern winter and in the southern winter for southern hemisphere teams.

And yes, professionalism has found its way to the southern hemisphere.

  3. just pick up any sports guide dude.  rugby in nz starts about feb goes to may as super 14 then domestic season kicks in as well as tri nations which takes you through to october and then maybe a end of year tour to a northern hemisphere   the professional era for the top rugby player is 10 months or more a year  (training for super 14 starts in Jan)  a leesor provincal player may only play a 5 month peroid or so depending if their team makes it to semi finals etc  as for northern hemisphere same sort of thing with six nations and their domestic seasons and end of year tours just takes place in different cycle
