How long is the average high school day in the US?

I was wondering how many hours in the average US high school day when does time does it start what time does it end.

Well, my school runs from 8:15-3:05. So about 7 hours

the usual is from 8am to 2:55 pm

that's about 7 hours, with about a half hour for lunch.  There are roughly six minutes in between each class.  Depending where you go, some have 8 periods, rome have six. and some have four.  I went to one with four periods, about 90 min.s each

My school was from 7:45 to 2:15.  We have 4 class periods each day and alternate between A and B days.

8 hours a day, including breaks and lunches... there are usually 7 or 8 periods... an hour per class or 45 minutes per class, some school have BLOCK scheduling... when you only have like 3 classes a day... it depends on which high school you go to really... but that's how the schedule goes, at least that's how it was when i went to high school here in california... umm we started at 8:00am until 3:00pm.. but like i said, it varies from schools...
