  1. 881 km – about 10 hours 14 mins

    via The Hume Highway

  2. roughly around 10 hours via hume hway

  3. about 880k/9 hours taking the Hume hwy

  4. If you want to save time, take the inland route along the Hume Hwy. That will save you a few hours. The drive is close to 900km, averaging around 10 hours to do the whole trip. However, if you ask me, there isn't much to see. I personally care about scenery.

The coastal route takes a bit longer but there are better views and scenery to enjoy. The weather of the locations on the way is also better if you're intending to stay the night in one of the towns. Just take the Princes Hwy and make your way down the coast.

Have a safe and enjoyable trip!

  5. about 12hrs. Flying is cheaper and faster as it takes only 1hr 20mins and can cost about $225 with Virgin Blue.

  6. It depends on whether you go via the coast or via the Hume Highway. It takes longer to go via the coast, and its roughly 1100 km or 12 hours, whereas by the Hume Highway it is about 9 hours.

If you want to get there quick and have your holiday down there, go via the Hume H'way, but if you want a fun, scenic road trip go via the coast!
