It depends on what you are a member of.  If it's a paid-for Yahoo service, the membership lasts until the paid subscription comes up for renewal. At that time, you would have to pay again to extend membership. If not paid, your membership would be cancelled.

If you mean for a Yahoo Group, there is no time limit for your membership. You will remain a member until you leave the group or are removed from the group by the group moderator or Yahoo.  Also, if the group is deleted, your membership would also be deleted.
