How long is the migration process for citizens of european union inside of eu?

if someone is moving permanently from france to czech or poland and the person is a citizen of european union. how long is the process? I heard it can take years for someone from asia to move to america. what about inside of european union? is it faster?

there is no real waiting period.  if you are a citizen of an EU country you can move freely to another EU country.

It is my understanding that you can go anywhere in Europe and take up residence, no waiting
