I got a root canal on one of my bottom teeth Thursday the 7th of August. It hurt REALLY bad the first three days, I couldn't put Any pressure on it. It's been Eight days now, and I still can't chew on it without excruciating pain, but putting a Little bit of pressure doesn't hurt that much. How long is this pain supposed to last?

  1. usually after a RCT process , there is somekind of pain thats is different from pain before RCT ...and it is normal and gets better after few days and for some people more and it is becasue of debries that are pushed into apical area of tooth ... but if the you have pain while chewing something it can be becasue of problems on filling process of tooth ... if the pain doesnt get better after a while you may need a Re -Endo and do the whole procedure again...

  2. that doesnt sound right - mines went away the first day - phone dentist for advice
