  1. The length of time just depends on the woman and the pregnancy.  With my first pregnancy bleeding lasted a full 28 days until my first normal period after giving birth.  With my third pregnancy it only lasted a week or so.  I think that pretty much anything is normal up to about 6 weeks.  However, if you're worried about it talk to your doctor.

  2. I had five kids and none of them were the same. Lochia is the way your body gets rid of stuff it stored for the baby. It usually lasts about three weeks, or so I've read. But it can go on, strong, for 6 weeks I know from experience. By the second week the color should be less intense, and your flow lighter. What is happening to you is perfectly normal.

  3. the postpartum bleeding is not the same as period bleeding.  This bleeding can last up to 6-8 weeks all women are different.

  4. whose to say for sur ei lasted 2 months then right after that had my period for 2 weeks at a time very month but i also had a c section and had abnormal periods as it was...like i didnt have mine for 6months then i found out i was prego  but i was also 17 at conception dont know if that makes any diff

  5. mine only a few days.

I think it depend on if it's a natural birth or c-section

  6. its up to your body as they go between 3 weeks up to 7 weeks my two birth period was 3 weeks
