How long is the process, to figure my car is stolen?

My car was recently stolen on friday? and I dont know how long it will take my insurance company to come to an end and finish the process of my claim. what is the normal time period?

I had a pickup stolen. The insurance said I had to wait thirty days before they would settle. That was The Travelers Ins Co  in NJ.

They will wait about 30 days before they consider settlement. They want to know if the vehicle will be recovered. They will send you a theft affidavit, request the police report etc.  If the vehicle is not recovered, then they will offer you the ACV, and send out more paperwork.

You are entitled to a rental 48 hours after you report the loss even if you do not have rental coverage.

Minimum time is 30 days to see if your car is found and recovered.  It may be longer depending on the investigation the insurance company goes through.
