I have infertility issue(s), one which is most obvious is that I do not ovulate. I did some lab work incl glucose and everything came back negative. Now I will do a ultrasound. I just want to know how long is this process going to be or a general idea from experiences. Thanks

  1. it took me a month so i can start in treatment

  2. This will vary depending on your Specialist and what tests they feel are needed. They also take into account how long you have been trying and your age. My partner and I were trying for 12 months, Im 30 his 36 after about 2 months of tests our specialist put me on clomid to help things along after 5 months of clomid we just found out were pregnant!!!!! No matter how long your tested poked and prodded it is all worth it when you get that positive result. Good luck x o x o

  3. Doctors have different protocols . . . but we spent a full cycle doing testing.  There was blood work to check thyroid function, CD 3 blood work to check FSH (follicle stimulating hormones), CD 21 blood work to check progesterone levels and ovulation, an HSG test to check to see that the tubes were clear and a s***n analysis for my husband.  We met with the doctor once the tests were completed, reviewed the results and then went onto a treatment plan.

Best wishes & baby dust to you!
