My fiance already applied and have the USCIS received confirmed to us they received by end of March. Right now, the waiting time gets me impatient because I really want to be with him :( he has been here visiting my country 3 times already in this year because we really want to be with each other so bad :( Anybody who have the same experiences I really appreciate if you can give me and my fiance a brightful answers :) How long really is the processing? How many months? I have my son with me and in the petition filed, would it be no problem with these and can i bring with me my son at the time we go to United States? My fiance just got his American Citizenship last March also as he is Bulgarian, would it not be a hindrance for us about the Fiancee Visa processing? Thank you soo much! God bless to you all and more power! Have a great day! :) By the way I am from Philippines

  1. Personally, my dad met his fiancee in the Philippines last October after having communicated through the telephone.  Last night he just came over and told me that she has received an approval and that he needs to send a copy of his passport and some other documents over to her to bring over to the Embassy when she goes for her interview... I'm guessing she'll be heading over here within the next 2 months.  So on average I think it takes about a year, maybe less.  So from seeing what my dad has gone through it doesn't have to be 2 years.

Good Luck to you both and keep loving each other.

  2. awww... i have the similar case..... i met my fiance on the internet 1.5 years ago and we have finally met in flesh, he proposed and now he's back to US.  he's gonna hand in the paper work next fri and we wonder how long it's gonna take.... cuz we really can't wait to be with each other!!

i heard it took minimum 6 months but can also be delayed up to 12 months....

fingers crossed for both you and me

  3. No, you do NOT need to know each other 2 years.  You must have met, at least 1 time, during the last two years.

Expect the visa to take about a year from the time your American fiance filed it.

  4. Average time is 207 days according to this site
