  1. well, if you want to get really pedantic it would also depend on where in the world she was at the time - passing through the panama canal she would be an inch or two longer than if she was in the antarctic due to the heat expanding her steel ;)


  2. The Saga Rose was initially built as the Sagafjord for Norwegian American Line.

    She was sold to Cunard in 1983 and kept the same name.

    In 1996 she was sold to Bremer Transocean Tours as the Gripsholm, and in 1997 was sold to Saga as the Saga Rose.

    Length; 188,88 m

    Breadth; 24,46 m

    Draught; 8,30
