How long is the shortest Olympic sprint (track)?

I think it is 60meters, but not sure. and if i live in connecticut and want to try out for 2012 olympics, where can i try-out?

  1. I know about 60m dash..  but I don't know about 50m.. on how to qualify you would have to go to the track meets in your country that is recruiting the team.. I think though that you would have to be atleast 16years of age..

  4. its a 100m they only run less then that at indoor track meets. and if your a good runner your most likely running in college and if u run good enough u will get invited to the olympic trials

  5. 50 meters.  There is no such thing as a 60 m.
