what is the shortest amount of time to get a bachelor's degree..

granted i take at most 3 subjects during the summer.. i plan to get a bachelor's degree in management.. i'm currently a high school student in the philippine so that means i can not take any summer classes during the summer at a community college. i plan to study in the chicago for college.. take my core classes at a community college then transfer to Northern illinois university..

now i know that most of you will ask me to talk to a counselor or something like that , but i can't because i still plan to study in the states for college and at the moment i am only in high school.. so there fore given my situation.. please tell me or it does not really have to be exact, but atleast please give me and idea on how long and how many classes i take per semester and during the summer to get a bachelor's degree the FASTEST WAY possible..

o by the way.. if you guys are wondering on why i'm in such a hurry to get it.. well to be honest.. i'm not really in a hurry. i just want to have an idea on how long would the fastest way out of college be .. thanks!

  1. If you take (and pass) a maximum workload of 18-21 hours (6 or 7 three-credit classes) a semester, and take a maximum workload during the summer (different courses and different colleges have different maximums in summer), you'd probably be able to finish in three years.  You'd have to have an excellent academic record before you'll be allowed to take 21 hours a semester, though.  Full-time is 12 hours, so 15 or 18 is more likely.  They estimate 15 hours per semester for four years to earn a degree.  Good luck!
