Iron Smoking Pipe (Tie Yan Dou)

The Iron Smoking Pipe or Tie Yan Dou ( 铁烟斗; tiě yān dǒu) was made from metal and was about 1.1 metres (3 feet). The metal shaft can be used like a short staff and the bowl of the pipe can be used to hook the opponent or his weapon. It was a special weapon used by the Zhi Zi Men style (枝子门) of martial arts. It was also known as the Blocking Face Pipe or Lan Mian Sou (拦面叟).
