How long is yogurt good for after the sell by date?

Question

i have a really bad craving for yogurt.

and i found some.

but the sell by date is july 3.

is it any good???

I wouldn't go past the sell date more than 10 days on yogurt.  This is just my opinion though.  I have heard yogurt doesn't go bad but I hate eating dairy products that are expired.

I wouldn't eat it if I were you, cause that has been awhile. But usually I would say that it's not safe to eat once it starts to separate and begins to look like cottage cheese.

it could be if its never been open.. I would try a small bit if it tastes bad spit it out. At my old job working in a kitchen we used to say "When in Doubt throw it out"

I would only let it go seven days (one week) past the sell by date. If you go over seven days,than the yogurt will be very sour and nasty tasting!

it probably is ok due to the strict government rules but i mean smell and tasste a little if it taste funny throw it out
