How long is your commute and how is it?

I'm thinking about taking a job offer in another city and would have to commute about one hour each way to work 5 days a week. I'm just curious how long it takes other people to get to work....i live in a pretty small city and it doesn't take most people too long (15-35 mins). If you drive for more than 45 minutes each way how is your drive? Does it seem like it takes forever? Do you listen to the radio/cd's/books on tape? Thanks in advance.

1 hour in moderate traffic, move closer if you can.

I used to commute, 5 days a week, 75 miles one way. Did it for four and a half years. Told myself I'd never do that again. My commute now is 17.4 miles, about 25 minutes. I listen to talk radio most of the time.

well im lucky because i live very close to my job. it takes me about 7 minutes to get there. there is traffic on the way that would make it almost 15 minutes but i've found shortcuts to make it even faster.

15 minutes to either office. It's lovely. Not much traffic the route/time I drive. It doesn't seem to take forever, it actually goes very fast. I listen to CDs or to the morning radio show that I like.
