How long it will take to see results after eating Fruits, Veggies, seeds and healthy Oils?

  1. Firstly if you have just made a drastic change to your diet, your body may initially have to go through what is called a healing crisis and in that period you may find that you actually get bad smelling body odour, headaches, a few pimples.  but this is nothing to worry about it is just that your body has realised that you are now not putting unhealthy stuff into it, so it is taking the opportunity to clear out a backlog of debris.  Please don't let this put you off, just stick with it and it should clear after about a week.

    As far as the benefits go, there will be some weight loss, you will be more toned.  Improvement in skin tone, increased energy, your digestive system will function more efficiently and you will feel like you have just dropped a big bag of rubbish.

    Just one more thing.  The change over also takes a little getting used to on the mental level, so just go easy on yourself.  Junky foods are mentally addictive, which is why it is so hard to give them up, when you are pulled to eating them, just give yourself ten minutes and in that time ask yourself if it is really worth it and if it really is, then eat it, but eat it with awareness and watch how it makes your body feel afterwards.  As long as you keep between 80% to 85% right, everything should be ok.  Good luck and enjoy.


  2. It may take a little while and it will be an adjustment, but it is well worth it for you, the environment and animals.

    When I stopped eating animal products the first thing I noticed was the way I digested things much faster.  Meat stays in your intestines digesting for up to 3 days!  Veggies and other non-meat items digest light years faster than that.  

    I also noticed that I was less bloated and I felt lighter because I didn't have to carry all of that undigested waste around with me all day.  I usually go "you know" 2-4 times per day.  That means I am not carrying around excess weight.

    When I wake up I don't have as bad of morning breath and when I sweat it doesn't smell as bad :)  I have always showered at least once per day, but I notice now that my hair isn't as greasy and I just don't feel as dirty.

    Also I feel good about not supporting the meat and dairy industry.  www.meat.org is what made me decide to go vegan.  Once I saw those animals and what they had to go through there was no other choice for me.  I couldn't have went back to eating animal products ever again.  My conscience wouldn't let me.

    Also I sleep better at night because my stomach isn't trying to digest.  When I wake up in the morning I am super hungry too:)  

    I also have lower blood pressure and cholesterol!  At my doctors appointments he has been impressed.  I have more energy and my depression has gotten a little better.  And one of the best things is that vegans are a class of people that are among the least likely to get cancer.

  3. I'm not really sure what "results" you're talking about.

    If it's weight loss, some people lose weight when they go veg. Some don't. Some gain weight. Veganism is not Weight Watchers. The only guaranteed results are fewer animals being abused.

  4. If you're switching from a really bad diet, you should start feeling the results pretty fast, within a month or so. As far as it changing how your body and skin look, I'd say expect changes in about 6-8 weeks. And go easy on the oils. Don't use them for frying. Heat destroys their goodness.

  5. Well...you will notice that you are more friendlier to others and you feel better about yourself. Pimples will not spread on yuor face and your eyes (carrots and mangoes) memory (spinach) will become much bettter. You will become less sluchy and more ALIVE...like a 5 year old. Scienists say that your I.Q can increase..and if you are pregnant......your baby will come out with less or no deformaties or diseases. Also, tomatoes produce more blood cells..(if you are agirl..then you will no why hat is important).

      it wil take weeks but it is worth it
