How long must I charge the battery for the Crosman Pulse R72?

The manual says 4 hours minimum and 6 hours maximum, but does that mean after every use? It says don't overcharge the battery. Does this mean if I used it for say 100 shots, would I have to charge it another 4-6 hours or what? I'm confused.

charger output mAh divided by battery mAh = charge time. You can get about 1 shot for every mAh, so if the battery is 1100 mAh you get 1100 good shots
