  1. They generally get 2 weeks but it depends on the Army.

  2. generally speaking they are authorized to delay reporting to their duty station  until the Report No Later Than Date.  this is usually  no more than 30 days.  Sometimes, the RNLT date is much sooner..as in days after finishing school.

Also, they may not have EARNED very much leave by then and won't want to go into the hole too badly.

  3. Depends on what the demands of the military are at that point. If he is not needed somewhere right then and there then he MIGHT get some leave.

  4. My husbands recruiter said about two weeks. Plus by the time our men will be getting out of AIT it will be around the holidays, but what do I know? :P

  5. I'll be honest with you, it would have been best if you two got married first. The chances of you seeing him more than 30 days a year is slim to none at this point. Also joining the Army is not a very wise move this day and age. Deployment ccycles run at ONE-YEAR, plus around 2-3 months of training before that, so around 15 months away.

    I'm sorry =(
