  1. According to Microsoft Streets & Trips, the distance between the two town centers is actually 11.9 miles.  Under normal traffic conditions, it shouldn't take you much more than 15 minutes to drive the distance.  However, during routine rush hour traffic, depending on how fast through traffic moves, it could take you more than an hour to cover the same distance.
