16X, 4.7 GB, 120 minutes? Is it really supposed to hold 120 minutes? I'm trying to burn a home video that is 71 minutes and my computer insists that it's too big for the DVD. Any advice? (I'm using Power Producer to burn the DVD)

  1. It is about the quality of the video that determines the size. If you give up on the quality, you can certainly fit longer videos. I had DVD-R holding movies upto 2.5 hours. 71 minute vide shouldn't be a problem at all. I keep burning my kid's videos all the time and it should fit in

I use Nero for my DVD. I feed it either WMV or AVI format and you can make it fit to one disc. It adjusts the quality accordingly

I don't know if there is such option with Power Producer

    Good luck!

  2. It is based on the quality of the video. The higher it is, the less it can hold. Reduce it & it will fit.
