How long on avergae do Americans spend in their car each day?

Question

I'm trying to get some data on how long, on average, Americans spend in their cars each day. Will include commute time if they drive to work, plus perhaps working time (if they drive as part of their work) plus associated family-driving etc time.

Any ideas welcome!

Me hardly nothing.  I live across the street from work so I walk to work.  2 min commute.  So I can say, about $150 a month, car also is paid off.
