Question:

How long should Barry Hall be suspended for?

Firstly I need to say, that king hit to staker was the most disgraceful thing I've ever seen in AFL footy in my lifetime, as Hall had full intent of knocking him out, and it had nothing to do with the ball. Along with the fact he has had numerous offers to become a professional boxer in the past, and has also won junior boxing championships, I personally think he should goto jail for a few weeks. However, in terms of suspension he will definitely be out for 6 weeks, but depending on other circumstances, to be reviewed at the tribunal, I reckon he could be gone for 10-14.

  1. now this got me fired up, 6 weeks...thats pathetic, he should be suspended for longer than that, he has proper boxing training and fully had the ability to do some extreme damage, i agree, 10 - 14 weeks! he deserves that!

  2. Yeah, it was disgraceful, lets see if the Swans argue it was in play to get a slight downgrade like they did before the grand final. I think 6-8

  3. 10-14? you serious? i think. it was high, intentional and high impact. it was in play. a  clean record over the past 2 seasons, will get him about 4-7.  i am very upset right now for what he has done. oh well, i feel better when we beat geelong next week. go the swannies.

  4. I agree... What a shocker for Barry tonight, seems like he has injured his wrist also.. We haven't seen anything like that since the 80's...

That hit on Staker definetely took it out of him, could have easily broken his jaw. h**l, it could of killed him! With the way the tribunal analyses these kinda acts nowadays, its gonna be at least 6 weeks. The fact it was intentional, off the ball and severe contact racks up the tribunal points for big bad Barry. Very bad Barry..

  5. 5-8 weeks.
