It was a deliberate and intentional act of thugery. Nothing less.

I would almost go as far as the AFL having a good look at whether or not he is even fit to be considered as a player representing the AFL and cancelling his contract.

With all the attention on players actions these days and AFL wanting to put players on pedestals as precious roll models, actions such as this need to be stopped.

I do not buy for one moment "oh I just had a brain fade" as a defense.  If that is the case, and he just had a "brain fade" he should retire from the game immediately. He is a trained boxer and one punch can severely injure or even kill a person.

Well as a Swans supporter I was shocked when he king hit poor Staker - I am blaming the reports over the weekend on the full moon.  Guess Bazza might have to get back to Anger Management Classes???  Funnily enough pay back for poor Barry was when he broke his wrist and split his head open when colliding with the fence late in the game and that alone will have him out for maybe 4 weeks or so.  But to answer the question I think he'll get 6 weeks for knocking Staker out cold and then Staker not being able to take any further part in the game.  I am wondering if the fact that Barry Hall is a darn good boxer will go against him.  By the way, good game from the Blues against Collingwood today - they are looking good and what about Richmond too over in the West.  What a weird weekend of footy and especially Brisbane getting up against Port in torrential rain.  Couldn't believe it.

just posted this questionn so sorry i think it should be eight one for the fact he knew what he was doing  two because he is a trained boxer so get the game right before you play the thired one is that they are all well payed footballers and should be able to keep a lid on there temper so to speak
