  1. Add cobs to rapidly boiling water and set timer for 6 minutes if fresh, 10 if frozen.  That's all it takes!

  2. No more than 10 minutes.

  3. 1 to 2 kernels 10 to 15 minutes 3 to 10 for 25 minutes and so forth. This may differ with fresh corn due to frozen corn. Fresh takes a little longer ,at least for 1 to 2 is like 20 minutes 3 to 10 may be 30 minutes.

  4. First of all, don't boil it.  Bring your water to a boil, drop in the corn & simmer for 12-15 minutes.  Boiling too hard will make it tough.

  5. I boil corn for 15 to 20 mins.  I season the water with a little of sugar to make it sweet.

  6. 5-6 minutes for normal sized ears of corn, they come out cooked but with some nice crispiness. Add a couple of teaspoons of your favorite herb to the pot, before the water boils and before you add the corn, to release the flavor. I like thyme, or basil and if you want add some garlic powder with whatever herb you choose. If you are cooking a lot of corn, (more than 4 ears) increase the herbs.

Than serve with butter, unsalted is best, no crappy margarine, that would ruin your efforts. Add, kosher salt and pepper to taste!

Okay, I'm out to buy some corn, could not resist!
