  1. Assuming you are wanting to make an herbal tisane (and not jam) you don't boil them at all. If the berries are dried, use a level teaspoon per cup of water. If they are fresh, use a heaping spoon. Bring fresh water to a boil and pour over berries. Cover to prevent steam escaping and let sit for 5 minutes. Strain out the berries & discard. Sweeten tea w/ honey if you wish.
