Question:

How long should I cook the fish?

Okay so tonight we're making fish packets where you take tilapia and put olive oil and balsamic viniger onn it and then you put tomatoes and spinich on it and you wrap it and put it in the oven... What temperature should the oven be and how long should we cook them? Thanks!

  1. You didn't say how big the portions are. If the amount is a total of 8 ounces, your better off making them into an envelope pf foil, one sheet, wrapped once and folded at the top. Most people cremate there seafood. It only takes a short time. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cook the pouches on a cookie or sheet pan for approx 20. It's done when you touch the fish and it flakes.


  2. Sounds fab...I do the same thing with salmon. Cook the packets at 400F for 25 minutes.

  3.   room temperature for ingrediants except fish, do not put to much into each packet make 2 or 3 packets if necessary.   400 degrees for about 15-20minutes , carry over cooking should finish the job  

  4. You set the temperature to 360. If its in the oven maybe about 10-25 minutes. If its in the pan 15 minutes:)

  5. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes, until tilapia flakes easily with a fork. Sounds like an awesome recipe too!
