How long should I keep my new fish in isolation for?

I bought 2 platies yesterday and put them in the isolation tank. How long should I keep them in there for before adding them to the main tank?

as long as they don't show signs of illness (white spots on their body, fin rot, cloudy eyes, etc.) they should be fine to go in your tank now.

not long about half a day 2 aday  you dnt want to keep them sepreate for a long period of time couse they might fight with the other fish

About 4 weeks.  It sounds excessive, but that should be enough time for any illness to develop, if it's going to.
