How long should I wait to hold my Corn Snake?

How long when I feed it? Like when i first feed my snake a mouse or rat...how long should i have to handle him...

you shoul wait at leats 48 hours. if you want to be sure you can also wait until it p**p or else when you handle it, especially if it's a young snake it can p**p on your hands.

I always feed my snake in her cage. It is ridiculous not to. Do you think professionals and breeders take their snakes out of their cages to feed, the answer is no never. I never have and my snake is just fine. Secondly give him/her at least 2days between holding and feeding. This gives time for proper digestion which is essential.

well you should wait about 2 days, minimum. you wouldnt want it throwing up on you. by 2 days, most of the food is digested

well you should have to handle him right after he is done feeding so you can stick him back in his cage, cause you shouldn't feed a snake in its cage. but to actually hold him and move him around i would suggest a day or 2

feed it in a separate feeding tub...wait about 20 minutes before you put him back in his house.  after that give him about 24 hours before holding him again.  i usually wait until my kings come out from under their substrate before handling them after they eat.  they take about a day or two to come out.

i hae a royal... i feed him then hold him the next day...  i would feed once a week. my royal eats once a week. he is 2.5 feet and wats 3 mice.
