Question:

How long should I wait to re-pierce?

Ok, basically I got my belly button pierced a while ago and it healed fine and was great but then I started to use a really high % hydrogen peroxide to clean it (not good advice!) and it completely ruined it resulting in me having to take it out about two weeks ago. Do I have to wait to have the bottom (not where I previously had it pierced) pierced? And how long should I wait if I decide to get the top re-pierced?

Thanks!

xx

  1. no you don't have to wait to pierce the bottom of it but i would recommend waiting about one month, maybe a little more, to re-pierce your top because then it can finish healing on the outside and the inside of where the hole was.  i hope that helped :)

  2. i would wait until it is healed, just in case. when you got it pierced they didnt tell you not to use peroxide?  thats ususally the first thing they say.
