Question:

How long should I workout for?

When I lift weights and do push-ups I take breaks in between to regain some energy for the next set ( I do like 6 reps when I lift weights and as many push-ups till failure)

Do I keep taking breaks until I am completely exhausted or do I only work out a certain time?

  1. the nutritional guide says everyone should work out at least 60 mins. a day but u can split the time up

  2. at least 60 minutes but 90 minutes every day will burn a lot more and the extra 30 minutes will show sum serious results.

  3. 30 minutes to an hour.. beyond that is too much..

  4. thorty minuets to an hour is good.unless you do it every day than you should go for 30 min!

  5. work out for a set time and take short breaks in between what u do.

  6. Actually Dateline did a special Report recently saying that the regular 60 min. should increase to 90 min.

  7. Rest for FOURTY SECONDS in between sets for each exercise. When you are than done with that exercise, rest for TWO to THREE MINUTES. It doesn't really matter how long you work out, just until you accomplish whatever it is you need to, or feel you are at your breaking point.
