How long should a chapter book should be? ?

I want to know that because I want to write a book and get it published.

you should write a book between 200-500 pages. Anything over 500 might get boring, and you want readers to get more books, not one giant one they only buy once. I am writing a book, and I am intending for it to be about 230 pages. Also like other people have said, it depends on the age group, younger should be 200-250, older should be 300-400, and so on...
