How long should a love making session lasts?

So my wife doesn't care at all, but I want to know how long is long enough, realistically. Whats the average including foreplay.

If you spend a lot of time with forplay and she seems bored?  Get to it.

  

If you finish before she does? Apologize and tell her how great she was.

If she is sleepy, coax her but KNOW that  a marathon is not always needed OR appreciated..  

Hug her or give her a massage EVEN if YOU do NOT expect s*x, IN FACT surprise her and say " I just felt like letting you know that I love you".   <----  wins us over BIG time,  but make her wait until the next night.
