How long should a pasta salad last?

~ my husband is making pasta salad ,,,,,how many days will it be edible?? No mayo,,,,it is pasta,,,broccoli,,,olives,,,,onions,,,an... a red wine vinaigrette... he is making aprox 2 lbs....for lunch, dinner,,lunch ,,,dinner........how many days will this be good for?????

With the vinaigrette dressing it should last for 5 - 7 days

I would toss it if any is left over after one week.

The vinaigrette will start to break down the other ingredients after a few hours and destroy textures and  fresh taste. Any wet ingredients will damage the pasta. My advice is to store the prepared salad in separate tubs and mix it and dress it as you require it. I would not store cooked pasta for more than 3 days, especially as it will not be re heated and so there is no chance to kill any bacteria that may be present.

I never keep anything longer than a week. Some things even less.

Past salad should be good at least a week though. Enjoy!!!!

if you keep it refrigerated it should stay good for a week, although in m house it would not make it that long. lol

Depends on how good your refrigerator is? But I would say 3 to 4 days tops.
