6 nights and 7 days? 8 nights and 9 days? A full two weeks? I'm not sure. My mom used to live there and she said 6 nights and 7 days, but I don't think that'll be long enough.

  1. Depending on your interests and places you want to see, 9 to 10 days would be enough.

  2. if you go for 3 weeks you would get to see most things

  3. You mention only three places that you want to visit, so seven days may be enough.  However, once you get here, you may decide to want to see more places or spend longer in the ones you've mentioned.

Do you plan to base your stay in London?  If so, Oxford is about 55 miles from there so you could drive and get back to London the same day.  You could also travel by train from Paddington Station, then you wouldn't have to worry about finding somewhere to park.  It would depend on what you want to do and see in Oxford.  If you have a lot of things in mind, it may be better for you to drive there and stay overnight.

A map and a good guide book will help you.

  4. You could see everything you wanted in Oxford in a day, but it might be easier to drive there and stay overnight, then drive back in the morning.
