How long should boxer shorts or boxer briefs reach past the thigh?

For a teenager/adult looking for boxers that fit right, how long should boxer shorts and boxer briefs *respectively* reach past the thigh? Please, in terms of inches, not centimetres, and if the length is different, specify which length for which.

They dont NEED to be any particular length, they can be as baggy or as tight too.

Contry to some beliefs tight underwear doesnt do that much to guys.

Briefs are still good. Espesh' in sports!

If you by the right waist size you'll automatically get the right length. Crazy!!!!

Okay well I can't give you it in inches unless I know how tall you are but they should reach atleast halfway between your waist and your knee.

I don't really know....coz I wear three kinds of underwears:

Briefs, Boxer Shorts, & Boxer Briefs.

idk, probably 4 inches or so.  that's not the real issue though.  The thing that matters is how it fits around your stuff.  It need to support your s*****m a bit but not be tight.  You need to be able manipulate erections into more comfortable positions as well.

They only need to be long enough so that your balls don't hang out.
