  1. At least a month. I would probably ground her for about 2 month from everything.

  2. I would ground her the rest of the summer, and not let her out on school nights during the school year.  That is a serious problem - teenagers are drinking more and more - and they binge drink - the chances of dying from binge drinking (only drinking a couple times a month, but drinking until they black out) is much higher than dying from drinking every day.

Ground her until she can't even remember what freedom is - no phone, no tv, no friends over, no going to the mall no computer, no summer vacation- no going on fun outings with the family.  And make her do chores too.

AND NO HANGING OUT WITH THAT FRIEND EVER AGAIN.

Also, you could make her attend some MADD meetings - those will sober you up really really fast!

  3. im not sure if grounding is always the best salution!

they get mad at you in the process and want to do it again.......

but if your set on that then atleast a month and tell her if you want to put your life in danger again....then there will be farther punishment i hope you see how worried i am and how bad you messed up!

  4. o my gosh!!! thats horible!

no friends, no phone (take a way cell phone if any)

    no tv

    NO COMPUTER

    give her "the talk"

ask her, "y the h**l were u drinkn?!"

    good lucK!

  5. I would do something more than a grounding. It has to be something serious so she knows you mean business. I would put her into some kind of summer class that has to do with the affects of drinking.

  6. One of my sisters was 15 and the other 14 and they where drunk so my mom  just made them do all the house work the next day and grounded them for 3 weeks

  7. It would depend on how  good she has been until now. I would say a  minimum of two weeks and  six months of close monitoring very close monitoring she will have to earn freedom back

  8. until she is 21, when she is old enough to buy it on her own.

  9. 5 months at least!!! This is a serious problem that can only be fixed through dicipline.  She was breaking the law and should know better.  This not only gives her a bad reputation, but it also makes you look like a bad parent.  This needs to be fixed, not only for her sake, but also for yours!!!!

  10. ground her until she learns her lesson

  11. yeah, she knew what she did, but bottom line...she shouldn't have done it in the first place. two weeks will probably do a justice. you don't wanna go too overboard and keep her locked up in her room forever! after all, no one wants their child to rebel!

  12. a month. my mom grounded me last summer for the entire summer for catching me drinking, & i was 12 lol. i never drank again. it tastes like S**t anyways.

  13. the rest of the summer (or school semester if your kid's in school now) plus she can't hang out with that friend anymore unless you and the friends mom make another compromise.

  14. Forget the grounding. Clear the air with a good old fashioned hairbrush to bare bottom.
