1. You should be swimming an hour or more per day( and I mean per day!) You should build up your srength by doing the harder strokes more freequntly like the fly and also free builds upper body strength also work out at a gym, do upper and lower body the stronger your musces are he more you will be able to pull, your breathing will also get back to what it use to be when you were swimming before so dont worry about that good luck!!!

  2. i am 14 and i swim competivly. I train everyday except sundays. I swim for 2 hours in the afternoon and in the mornings i do 1.5 hours, sometimes doing street runs and core exercises and stuff plus u need 2 strech b4 u start exercise and after 4 lyk 10 mins. i can get u some sets 4 the level u r at if u want nd guid u, i am a part time coach.

  3. you should do it for about 1.5 houurs a day

    10 minutes of stretching

10 minutes of jump rope (it helps)

10 minutes of jogging( maybe around a mile-a mile and a half)

    1 hour swimming

          Warm up

                   -200 free

                  -100 back

                 -50 fly

                    -100 breast

    Main set

          -4 200 IMI's on 3:20

-6 50 Free Race on 30 sec of rest

          -6 100 IM's on the 1:40

          -2 100 Back on the 1:35

          -75 free easy

    2nd main set

           -2 100 fly on the 2:00

           -1 100 Breast on the 1:45

           -1 200 breast/free by 25's

           -4 50's IM order race

    Cool Down

           -100 choice EZ

  4. if its a 20 FOOT pool then well u cant practice there you need to find a 25 yard/meter and for that to get in shape you should swim on a schedule like:

    Monday: Butterfly

    Tuesday: backstroke

    Wednesday: Breaststroke

    Thursday: Freestyle

    Friday: I.M.

i recommend you have about 3 or 4 sets like 1 for a warm up 1 as a drill set 1 as a main and 1 for a warm down to start

    each around 1000 meters
