How long should i ride my bike for it to be considered a cardovasculiar workout?

  1. For any cardio work out 30 to 45 mins minimum at least 3 days a week.

    A a solid workout would be 1 hour x 5 days.

  3. What are you trying to do? Get fit? Lose weight?

    If you want to get fit try try mixing up a long ride (more than 1 hour) with interval training i.e. 10min warm up at 25% of maximum workrate, then 3 mins at 80%, 3 mins at 25%, 3 mins at 80% and so on. Do this for 1 hour and warm down. This will build your endurance.

    For weight loss - any exercise more than 20 minutes duration with heart rate above 100bpm (higher if you're younger).
