How long should i run on a treadmill im 219 pounds?

is 30 mins good? im 16 about 6,2 219 pounds

  1. Set a goal and work toward it.  If you have to you can run for a bit, then walk, then run some more.  When you start out running it isn't about jumping right into it.  You have to work your way into it because your body isn't used to that kind of stress.  The important thing is that you push yourself toward your goal, whether that be 30 mins, 5 miles, or whatever.


  2. i think its better to set a goal how many miles you can run ..not if you can run for 30 mins

    set a goal for ex 2 mile or 8 times round the track

    then just keep getting better at your time it take you to complete the 2  miles and keep add on

  3. I walk to warm up for 5 mins

    I jog ( 7.5 mph - 8.5 mph) for 20 mins and slow down for 5-10 mins ( or im dead) and continue jogging for 20 mins more and 10 mins walk to cool down
