i got my tragus pierced about 2 months ago, and i was invited to a pool party next week. i want to be able to get in the pool, but i don't know if it's a good idea or not. does anyone know how long i should wait before i can go into a pool? i know chlorine really dries skin out, but i'm not sure of what other effects it could have. thanks!

  1. It should be okay right away, just make sure you use something like peroxide and antibacterial soap to clean it, and keep something like neosporin on it to keep infection out, and help it heal

  2. you're good to go;

    they say to wait 2-3 weeks before swimming, but just clean after

  3. Yeah you should be fine.

  4. youre absolutely fine, dont worry about it.

    chlorine will do nothing to harm your piercing

    the only water they reccomend staying out of is actually like lakes and other really germy water

  5. u could it should be heal by now or if its not clean it soon as u get out da pool

  6. it should be halfway healed now... and it's fine... clean it with saline afterwards.
