  1. It's good that you are asking what to do to be careful. There are times during your cycle when you are "less likely" to get pregnant but I know many people who have had s*x during those times and wouldn't you know it - they got pregnant. The reason they do is because you never know how long those little sperms or eggs can live because its different for everyone. So, using that method "the rhythm method" is not reliable. If you do only that, then chances are that you could get pregnant. You really should use a condom or get on the pill. Hope that helps!

  2. If you're protecting yourself against pregnancy, your period is not an issue.  If you're having unprotected s*x, not even your period can stop you from getting pregnant.  Most young girls get pregnant really easily.  Be careful.  Have you seen that show Baby Borrowers?  I think it should be required viewing.

  3. Figure from the first day of your period until the day before your next period is your "unsafe" period, ok?

In other words -- there IS no "safe" period, especially with a teenager, whose periods tend to be irregular, and whose use of birth control is often full of errors (i.e., not using a condom until ready to come instead of putting it on before initial entry, missing birth control pills, etc., etc. )

HOWEVER, what you are asking are what are your most fertile periods.  For most women, the egg is released 14 days prior to the start of your period.  So, if you have a typical 28 day cycle, with the first day of your period considered to be the first day of the cycle, then you will be most fertile exactly two weeks later.  HOWEVER, sperm can live for up to 7 days (typically, though, 3-4 days, but just how much of a risk-taker are you?) in the uterus and the fallopian tubes, so any kind of ejaculation a week or more past the start of your period is asking for trouble. Your safest days are probably the week of your period, and the week just before you start your next period.

USE BIRTH CONTROL OR WEAR A CONDOM. You know what they call people who use the rhythm method for birth control?  PARENTS.

  4. There is really not time you can be 100% sure of not getting pregnant. I have a system on my phone and it will tell you the percent chance of becoming pregnant on a certain day. You just enter when your last period was and how often you have them. During your period there is normally a 1% chance of pregnancy. The week exactly in the middle of your periods is the week where you are most fertile and have a 99% chance. After that week the percentage drops and drops until it becomes 1% again because your period begins. Now right after your period the percentage will begin to increase from 1% until you get to that week where you are 99%.

This will not be 100% accurate....but it gives you an idea. I go by this system often.

Be safe. Use a condom everytime.

  5. there is no safe time to have s*x so use protection if u dont want to get prego

  6. well use a condom and be on birthcontrol,

then wait 9-10 days after your period ends before .

  7. You can get pregnant ANYTIME you have unprotected s*x.
