How long should i wait to change my belly ring?

Well ive had my belly pierced for exactly 4 months and it looks good and never has gotten infected i do sea salt soaks to clean it and also clean it with anti-bactiral soap. i know its not fully healed but it looked like its getting close 2 it. how long should i wait to change it? i really wana change it. would now be ok or do i have to wait longer?

Its recommended to wait 4-6 months before changing the jewelery, however, I've changed most of my piercings within the first few months and nothings gotten infected. Just make sure the the new jewelry is clean.

i dont have my belly button peirced but ive been with several friends to get theirs done, and all the places we went to the people reccommend 6 months to change it
