How long should i wait until......

Question

I just got my car re-painted about 1 week ago, and i want to wash it.But i forgot to ask the shop where i got it painted when it was okay for me to wash the car, so that the paint is not in jeopardy of gettting ruined!!! does anyone know for sure how long i'm supposed to wait????

you have to wait until the paint gets set to the metal. 1 week is not long enough. just because it is dry doesn,t mean its set. give it about 3 or 4 weeks.

I asked the guy at the shop and he said about 2 week if it is hot outside.  If it's a cooler place you should wait about 4 weeks.    Hope I helped. :):):):):):)
