  1. could take up to 2 weeks depending on your temperature and weather conditions..You can take some at a little at a time and put in a paper sack with a banana and close it up loosely...It puts off ethylene gas which is a ripening process some fruits go through..and this ripens the tomatoes..here is a link on this..DO NOT PUT IN A SUNNY WINDOW.SOME MAY SUGGEST IT CAN SCALD THE TOMATOES AND IT DOES STOP THE SUGARS FROM CONCENTRATING..
