How long should my longboard [skateboard] be? I'm 5'1 and probably won't grow much more. HELP?

yuh I'm 5'1 and probably wil only grow 1 to 2 more inches (if i do at all) and i want to know how long my longboard (skateboard) should be. also im female so yeah... helpfull internet sites will be nice too.

unlike skis, snowboards, and pool cues, and what rides you can get into at six flags, the length of your longboard has absolutely nothing to do with your height.  I'm 6'2" and I have boards ranging from 26" to 39" to 48" to 60", and they all work for their purpose.  basically, the shorter the board, the smaller the turning radius using the same given trucks and pressure on the side of the deck.  Also, if you have really turny trucks like randal 180's on my 60 inch deck with a 50 inch wheelbase, I guarantee I could turn faster than most skaters with stock park skateboards that they got at some sports equipment store.  here is the board I would have gotten if I could have gotten a first board all over again.  I suggest getting randal 180 trucks and the sector9 76mm wheels. also the bones reds bearings.  http://www.skatesonhaight.com/ProductDet...
