How long should the initial "purge" period be for using a new facial wash?

I've been using a mix of the gentle st. ives cleansing cream and the scrub (the scrub less because i don't want to irritate my skin) consistently for about a week and half now and i've been breaking out around my chin where i normally have no problem. I know it takes time for the skin to adjust to a new medication or cream but could it also mean i'm having an allergic reaction and should switch to something else?

i think, that u should check it out with a docter and see what he suggests you do and if that doesn't work then, switch to a gentle cream, dove works best for irritations.
